Shipping woes, arrghhh...!!!

    Ordered online last night. Chat window person said to go ahead and click free second day shipping, they automatically change to free overnight.

    Got my email this morning from Verizon, your order has shipped..I was like, wow, cool...then hit the tracking link, SECOND DAY, delivered on the 19th..!!!!

    I've called Verizon a bunch of times, talked to supervisors, etc. NOTHING can be done, once its been processed and shipped.

    The real bad thing is its shipping from West Chester PA, about 2 hours from me, and I can't get it. Vzw does not allow pickups at FedEx until its been attempted to deliver once already.

    So that is just great, I have to wait until monday now...arghhh.

    that sucks. id call and complain to verizon - not trying to change the fact, but to see if you can get something out of it for your troubles. maybe a discount on your next bill or a free accessory...

    Believe me, I've called like 4 times and went to a stupidvisor, no help at all. Just how sorry they are and will note the account.

    Can't believe they have nothing in place to override errors they make like that and allow you to reorder even if other one is in motion.

    idk if this would work but its worth a try

    if you have another line available for upgrade, get the X on that to get the overnight shipping (still would be tomr) and when the one monday comes just refuse that one

    idk im out if ideas

    I don't quite understand this one...right on VZW's front page, it says Free Overnight Shipping on all orders...they really did screw you over...

    Yea the supervisor was stumbling on that one too, about overnight on the front page. I have a phone available in Nov, thats it.

    I had the same thing happen. I'm on the phone with them now. Luckily mine hasn't been processed yet. Hopefully this guy can help me out.

    ETA:
    I have an employee discount on my monthly bill and under that plan they will not offer overnight. They wouldn't upgrade it to me so I'm stuck until Monday.

    if it comes down to it just cancel the order and have him reorder for you with the free overnight shipping.

    Seriously, thanks dude, I was kinda wondering on that one. Its not about life or death, its about me having a poor customer service experience and me being able to express my unhappiness over it.

    Which I've done...not really needing yapping from you.

    They won't because I get the monthly discount. I guess they will make up there money some way. Will it hose things up if I find one locally and get it then just refuse the order?
