Settings force close

Every time I try to change my settings, it keeps telling me that the application has force closed. What's up with this?

I would recomend a factory reset if your settings app is closing, but first boot into safe mode.

Not to sound completely dumb here, but how do I do that? And will I lose everything?

No prob. I'm planing on uploading a video on how to do a factory reset this weekend. The video should be up by Saturday. I'll post the link here once its up. It explains how to a factory reset and get all of your data back. Cheers!
