Setting wallpaper - am I doing something wrong?

Someone I know made me a 320 wide by 480 tall wallpaper for my Droid Pro. When I go to set the wallpaper, it makes me choose a smaller portion of the file, rather than being able to use the entire thing.

Is there a way to just set it without having to choose a box?

You should be able to expand the box to cover most if not all the picture...
Thats how it is on my OG, whether the pic is exactly the same size or not.

The box is only letting me select a small landscape type section, rather than the large portion I need in portrait.
