With all the modding going on with the Droid, I'm sure there are some people, me included, are wondering if there is a way to get the Droid back to stock "Out of the box" status again.

Would a "Factory data reset" do the trick?

    TIA

I believe if you root your phone and you want to un-root it all you have to do is to manually run the latest OTA update, it should also work if you are already running that firmware version on your phone. What I want to know is if you do a factory reset will you have to reprogram your phone #.

Factory reset will do this for your phone.. I did it the other day when I wanted to delete everything.

And Harrison_W1337: Yu will have to re-program your phone number, they made me do that after the reset.
