I gave a rooted droid x and I was wondering what the best cpu settings are for:
Performance
Mild use
Battery saver

Thank you :)

Assuming you are not going to be over clocking.

I have a 2 profiles set up.

One for when the screen is off, I get decent results.

max 600
min 300

One for when the battery temp gets above 50 degrees C.

max 600
min 300

I'm sure others have their opinion, but that is what I use. Simple and to the point. No over clocking here.

I seriously under clock mine when the screen is off. Battery lasts a lot longer.

If you're trying to obtain better battery savings, I recommend using QuickClock Advanced. Its a couple bucks in the market but well worth it for battery savings.

I have a Droid 2 but the settings should work for you also...

Temp over 50C: 300/300
Screen off: 300/600
Charging/full:600/1200
Battery >40:300/600
Battery>70: 300/800

I use my phone to listen to music for about 3-4 hr's per day along with normal use and end up with about 40% battery left when I get home.

For performance, I'd use a main profile of prolly 600/1200 (always have a battery temp profile also just to be safe).

Quick clock would be your best option like D x'er said. There are custom settings for all of the profiles you mentioned. Well worth the couple bucks
