Set Camera Focus Point?

Hey there, I'm new to the TB, and I have to say, I love this thing so far, great speed, 4G speed is amazing, and the camera is fantastic for a phone camera.

Question about the camera though: If I want to focus on something not in the center of the screen, I tap where I want the focus, and it focuses there for a second. When I tap the shutter button however, the camera re-focuses in the center. Any ideas out there on how to change the camera focus point?

i just tried this, and touching outside the middle, it focuses and takes a pic just as i want it to. not sure what to tell you.

Does it take the picture on the first tap? Mine focuses where I tap, then blinks like it took a picture, but there is no shutter sound, and no picture on the SD card. Maybe I need to try a factory restore or something.

How do I focus, freeze that focus, then take picture when ready? I often take.pics.of animals.and I want to be focused and ready to shoot when the animal faces me.
