I have not been able to update past 4.7 without having MAJOR FC issues with the Market. Just flashed 4.95 and EVERY SINGLE TIME I try to d/l from the Market I get an error and the app just sits there at "downloading" status. I guess this is a small step up from 4.9 which just immediately FC'd the Market. Can anyone help here? I'm bored of being stuck at 4.7

Did you try wiping when installing 4.95? More info is needed to help you figure this out.

And yes, I've already tried clearing cache and data, it didn't do anything helpful

No wipe, but with 4.9 I tried it both ways. First no wipe and then a full wipe of data and cache. It didn't matter.

yeah give those a shot, there is no reason it would be doing that to you on a clean install. something is holding it up. i would try the market data first off
