Quick question, next to the ear piece on the Droid, between the LED indicator, there appears to be a sensor...anyone know what that is?

It also looks like there are two more to the left of the ear piece...anyone have a layout or schematic as to what all of these "sensors" are for?

    Thanks!

Thanks my friend, I understand what sensors the phone has, guess I was trying to determine their locations. :)

I'm pretty sure that's the proximity sensor.

    Correct its the proximity sensor.

It shuts off the screen when on a call when your face is up to the screen. It prevents accidental screen pressing.
