Sending email

When I send an email from my droid it stays in my outbox and never gets sent. Also when I receive an email, it gets delivered, and then when I try to locate it after reading it at a later date , I can't find it in my gmail folder? So I am receiving email but can't send them or read them twice. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem ocassionally. There doesn't seem to be anything I can do with those is delete them. A reset won't cause it to go.

I have a message stuck in my out box now. Other messages will go out.
