See MPH in Google Nav?

found an app the other day...amazingly its called Speedometer by tracklive or something like that. works great. you will have to hold the speed steady for a few seconds for it to register it. my speedo is WAY off on my R1 i need a speedohealer badly haha.
plus this app maps out the route you took going over it step by step and shows your speed at each interval. pretty damned sweet if ya ask me....and no I'm not the maker of the app

Google Navigation is brand new and still in beta (although most things that Google releases stays in beta for a long time). I'm sure they will add some of these features in due time.

If they added this feature it would also give an accurate arrival to destination time.

Google maps shows MPH

I know that on the Droid 2 google maps does show the current speed while also showing the map. It seems pretty accurate too. I don't know if they've updated this for other models or not, just know it works for D2 at least while in car dock anyways.

Another TomTom feature that I miss in Google Maps is toll road avoidance. That's huge.

My Wife has a DX and my Son has a D2...
I've never even thought to see if their GMaps had a speedometer...

I also wish that GMaps would list the speed limits on the roads you are on.
My TomTom did this, it must already be in a database...
