I've read that 64 gig micro sd cards are going to be available some time in 2011. The Droid X specs that it is expandable up to 32 gig. I already have a 32 gig installed and I love it, but I want more memory if its available.

Does anyone know if the Droid X will be able to support larger than a 32 gig card like a 64 gig or possibly a 128 gig in the future months or years?

What the hell do you have that 32gb is not enough storage space on your phone? My DX only came with a 2GB sd card, and it is plenty unless I try to keep multiple CWR backups (I copy them to my laptop anyways)

Anyways, as mentioned a patch may need applied, but it should be possible. The DX is also only compatible with Class 6 or slower sd cards.

Yes something like that kind of usage. I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
