sdk platform help

    does anyone know how to install the 2.2 platform in my phone? i already have eclipse and the develepers tools. i already downloaded it as well, i cant find any help on google, so i was wondering if someone could help me here. thanks

    there are image files, which i think have something to do with it by the way

    DO NOT bother with this...

    You will most likely get nothing accomplished, other than possibly bricking your phone.

    In all honesty, it just isn't worth it. Just wait for the source tree to be updated with 2.2 and I will bet someone will have a crude port of it over to our lovely Droids in less than 48 hours.

    If you are still serious about this, then you won't get much help here. Not many of us are developers, but we know pretty much every trick in the book to help those fix their phones that need it. :p

    Unfortunately, yes. If it was possible, their would be many of Froyo ROMs flying around right now. If I remember correctly, I heard that this isn't made for use on a phone, but more for the development of apps.

    Trust me. Froyo will be worth the wait.
