Sd card

When I plug my droid x into pc for mass storage, all of the apps saved to the sd card that are also on my home panels are removed from home panels. Safely remove hardware (pc), they dont come back up on the home panels. Must reset panels every time. Any ideas? Stock droid x, gingerbread.

Don't put apps on your sd card if they have widgets or if you want to access them while plugged into a computer.

The problem occurs when I safely remove the phone from the pc, the apps don't come back up after the card is found by the phone.
