sd card slot

i am having problems with sd card slot on my droid 885. i had to get a replacement phone and was able to get it turned on easy but i wanted to tranfer all my pic. to the new phone but it said there was no sd card. i took the sd card out and formatted it and tryed it in my wifes phone and it worked there. i was able to unmount it and mount it in her phone. when i put it back it mine it would not work. any suggestion would help
