SD Card files to internal memory

Can anyone provide a play by play as to how I can move files (such as music and whatnot) to my internal phone memory?
I have 5 GB of space going to waste for internal memory and I'd like to make some room on my SD card.

generally you can go into your app manager and when you click on an app, it gives you the option to move between your sd card and internal memory. if that doesn't work, you can always mount the phone on your computer and do it there.

You have to root to gain access to the internal storage.
Once you've done that you can move the files via the command line or root explorer.
