When I boot my phone up and the SD card is being read while the phone is connecting to the internet, the phone freezes up and forces me to pull the battery. It takes several attempts before I can get pass the initial start up of SS4.9 and 4.95. The SD card is the San Disk class 2, but this is the second card that I'm having this problem with on my D1.

Can anybody shed some light on why this is happening?

The only time I have heard of this happening is when something has been moved to the SD that it needs at startup - since the SD does not mount until the end of bootup - that could be causing the problem. Have you moved any apps to SD?
