If they can get to and flash anything in recovery, then it should work
And here is the download for the milestone version (I think its up to date? But I don't think it matters much either)

    http://direct.motorola.com/ENG/Soft...torola.com/download/RN_Milestone_FROYO_EN.pdf

Edit: I guess that is actually a computer program that will flash it...so you need to just follow those instructions...no idea if it will really work but it can't hurt

Help please. Iam using GPA15 on my OG with 2.6.32 lowV1.0Ghz ChevyNo1 Kernel, SetCPU. I downloaded V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-update5.sh and executed it with ScriptManager per the instructions. It won't modify the kernel. I boughtRoot Explorer and found 99SuperCharger.sh in the data folder, but am unable to execute it with ScriptManager. What folder should 99SC be located in to activate properly. My problem is every reboot, I lose the settings and my OG goes into slo-mo.
    What am I doing wrong?

    v6supercharger in Milestone

    Thank you Zeppeline Roux,
I installed V6 supercharger using script manager in my CM7-RC12 Milestone and everything went fine. The Minfree readings are 6,8,26,28,28,30 and the Launcher is Hard To Kill.I am keeping JIT on,Lock Home Memory unchecked and Vm Heap at 40.My doubt is that whether I have to run the supercharger script and set to these values each time whenever I switch off and on the phone? Please advise.Once again with lodes of thanks,
    pnsdhrn

On cm7 for milestone, supercharging gets cooked into the rom.
Only /system/etc/rootfs/init.mapphone_umts.rc gets modified and no boot script is needed.

you should have /system/etc/init.d/99SuperCharger which should load up automatically on boot.
If not, configure SM to run it at boot and as root

    Update 6 is up!

    UPDATED July 16, 2011: - Update 6
    Added Second MegaRAM device setting.
Added installation to system option - for easy use with Terminal Emulator!
    Added UnSuperCharger verification
Improved status checker. It can sometimes determine if home is locked in memory! If not, it asks you if it is.
Saves SuperCharger settings! - They are displayed on the main menu if they exist.
Saves Cust-OOM settings! - Cust-OOM settings get added to the menu!
    Smart Cust-OOMizer - Just try it :)
Improved the code some more. It's smarter than ever :)
Improved messages to user. Clearer instructions and errors are given!
Final attempt to get this to load on boot. Custom ROMs will now get the /data/userinit.sh and /data/99SuperCharger.sh files.
Easily cook into your rom! Just change the variable (rcpath=) on line 120 to the path of your *rc file!
1224 lines of code!

    V6-6! Running it now! Thanks!!

I just noticed it said to disable Compcache, so I did that. I already had 'lock home' turned off, too.
Any other settings I should tweak? JIT? VM Heap?

I partitioned my SD card for swap, but haven't ever figured out how to get that running right. SetCPU says 0/0/0 for all swap infos. :(

It doesn't happen all the time but some users had lag issues resolved by disabling compcache and re enabling it after a reboot

I dunno much about using swap since I can't use it.
But I doubt that id use it tho

The phone runs great, so I'm not all that worried about swap.

Settings if I'm rooted but still stock (for now)

As a noob to this particular tweak, can anyone tell me which selection is deemed best for the case where I'm rooted but I've not flashed a new kernel or rom on my d1? (I did not notice any posts regarding this although I could have missed it easily enough and I expect to stay this way for a bit while I kick the tires on a very recently rooted phone) I set this up and loaded up the "Aggressive 2 Settings" (#3) since I really don't know what'd be best. I saw some warning about an "incompatible rom" when it ran and was trying to adjust some settings (presumably because I'm on stock). The phone *does* seem a bit snappier though. Any mention is appreciated...
