I guess I could just run the v6 script manually every time I boot up. Cause ill say that on aggressive 3 this thing is blazin! Just wish I knew why I'm forbidden.

the same thing was happening to me....
first you got make sure you set up your Script Manager app (open-menu-more-config...then make sure "browse as root" is checked)

once you do that the "forbidden" message goes away and you can access the file and find the 99SuperCharger.sh script. THIS is the script you will load using Script Manager check "on boot" and "run as root"...

That's it.... after that your settings are good even after rebooting...

I looked into that setting once and I read some information and it wasn't clear to me what would work best because different sites advised different things... so I just dropped it lol
    Here are 3 of them:
    overcommit_memory | LinuxInsight
Respite from the OOM killer [LWN.net]
killing the OOM killer | Odeon

I guess the only way to be sure is to try 0 and 2 for a few hours each and see what's best

    Try 6,12,75,125,150,175 :)

    Tested overcommit settings.
Set at 2, the phone gets stuck at M logo
Set to 0, apps close while using them and angry birds doesn't run, smatbench gives high scores but the graphic test's graphics are diminished.
So only a setting of 1 would be universally acceptable.

thanks so much. Got it all set now. This thing cooks more for sure... However I noticed after running it for over 8 hours yesterday that my touchscreen stopped working and had to do a battery pull. Can't be certain that it's the v6 but thought I'd mention it. Ill test it again for the whole day today.

    Regardless, thanks again!

Very good, thanks for getting back to me. I have applied the sysctl file and all seems well. I had to rename it from 01sysctl to 02_sysctl as I already had a 01 listed. Was it ok to add the underbar between 02 and sysctl? All the other files in that directory were named that way, except for Zepps 99SuperCharger. If not I'll rename it back to 02sysctl.

As for the build.prop; I haven't messed with that yet. Like I said, I'm assuming I just copy/paste over the things I don't currently have in my build.prop, keeping them in the same locations on my file? Is that all I need to do?

As always, thanks in advance, appreciate it!

Yeah, I noticed apps closing/force closing now that I'm trying out muiu roms...I think simply stunning was just good enough that I didn't see much of that...its hard to test some of what works and what doesn't on my phone...its just a beast and will handle about anything lol...

The numbers are just so the files in init.d are organized properly...having a file name starting with 01 runs before one starting with 02...after that you could name it whatever you want lol

And yes just copy/paste what you don't already have in the build.prop...some settings like the dalvik heap start size and the regular dalvik heap size are adjustable to your particular setup
