Are you suggesting to uncheck Lock Home in Memory because you chose option 8 or just because you are using Supercharger?

I am using Supercharger with option 5 and left Lock Home in Memory checked. Should I uncheck it?

Yes uncheck it. The script will lock launcher into memory and set it so it won't get killed

I've selected option 8 with ROM lock in memory setting all turned off and using v6 script.

    It's running great so far

I set to option 8 multitasking and it will kill my netflix stream 20 seconds into play and send me back into my netflix Que. Is there an option or tweak that would enable netflix to work without losing performance from your settings?

    CyanogenMod 7 settings?

CM7 has the "Recover Assets" setting. Should this be disabled in settings when using supercharger?

What about CM7's lock launcher in memory option? Is that automatically overridden by supercharger or should I uncheck that too?

Very impressive results. Very much worth the easy setup.

Disable lock home in memory... it makes the laucher weaker and you may still get redraws.
Most people suggest to recovery assets... I don't see why not :)
Well before going crazy with tweaking things, first try easy stuff like sometimes a reboot fixes things, wiping caches, uninstalling netflix and reinstalling again

You'd be surprised at how an uninstall/reinstall can fix an app that's acting weird.

If that don't help, try locking home in memory to make it weaker and free up extra ram
This is why I no longer recommend bulletproofing... there is no chance of getting extra ram freed up automatcially... it's more likely to get freed up with HTK launcher though.
But still, locking home in memory is guaranteed to free it up and it is in effect immediately so LHIM is a nice toggle switch to weaken the launcher, really.

So try that stuff first and if it still doesn't work properly, you can try the bulletproofing apps trick in the OP (near the bottom).

Edit: I think it's intentional by the netflix people... I stumbled upon a possible fix... a build.prop edit...

Question 1: Do i need to uncheck lock launcher in memory if im using HTK? I can't uncheck it. Not sure why.
Question 2: Does unsupercharging just put it all back to before i did anything? I want to do a before and after test.

    1. I've heard of that problem before. But it may be because SuperCharger does set Home to a priority of 1 as locking home in memory would.
But the difference is that because of the rearranged groupings/priorities, it doesn't mean the same thing.

    2. Yes of course.

Since you're doing the before and after testing (of course, I'd do the same thing lol) install Auto Memory Manager without SuperUser permissions to look at how the groupings are changed. You should see similar before and after groupings to the ones I posted in the OP ;)

Note where the launcher is and priority number when it's locked in memory (it has immediate effect)
When supercharged, LHIM makes your launcher a 2 because that is the priority of visible apps.

    Thanks :)
I added a small note to the end of my previous post.

Also, maybe you can post before and after screen caps of the groupings?
