Do any particular brands offer lower distortion or grease resistance?

I have used that same brand on my iPhone and it has held up very well!

I have heard great things about invisible shield, would it still be smart to get like a soft gel cover for it as well?

I love the Invisible Shield also! I have had it on all my phones and camera LCD screens. They look good and protect really well.

If your sales person is any good. They will talk you into a screen protector before you even sign the new contract. :icon_ lala:

Not sure if I made my question clear enough, but would there be much use in getting a fitted foam/rubber case as well with the invisible shield? Or would Invisible Shield be enough?

I usaully laugh at people that clip their phones on their belt.. it just looks really funny.. Kinda like fanny packs..

As for cases.. I had a hard case for my iPhone but soon dumped it cause it was a pain to get in and out of the pocket.. Now I only screen protect and nekkid it...

lol

Yeah only screen protect here. As Getaphixx said, it's too bulky to have to get in and out of your pocket if you don't have a belt clip for it.

Definitely prefer this over a gel cover. I had one on an old Palm Treo 650 and it would not fit in the fitted cases or docking station easily. If you're planning on using the car dock or the multimedia station, this would still allow you to use it, whereas the gel case may prevent you from using it or at least make it difficult.
