Does anyone know if its possible to turn off the vibrating when you slide to unlock your screen? Can't find an option in settings, maybe a hack for that?

Squidly released a hapticless slider for his 2.3.2

It works great on the slider but also really diminishes the haptic feedback of the 4 soft keys.

Yea, I turned off haptic but the slider and soft keys still vibrate.

Its under the droid 2 roms section, but like I said it was made for squidly's 2.3.2 rom. It may work for any deodexed rom but i'd have to check.

I found it but looks pretty tricky to install. I hav yet to install a rom, do all of them require developer skills? Im too scared I will completely screw up my d2.

Its not as daunting as it seems but I know how you feel. I was scared poopless when I flashed my first rom but if you take some time to familiarize yourself with the steps it starts to make more sense.
