Sbf from bionic!?

Can you Sbf from the stock boot menu, I see it is an option but don't want to try anything till its confirmed. And can we flash roms from this menu too??

You can recover using an FXZ file in essentially the same way you could recover using an SBF on other Motorola phones. How to Flash Droid Bionic Back Stock | Android Advice & Tutorials

Yea I know that but if you power down your phone and hold volume up and down and power button it brings you to the stock boot menu and has an Sbf option. Just wondering what that is?
