Saving Pics to SD card

So when I got the Droid the sales rep said all I had to do was take all my pictures and videos from my old 2GB SD card save all the info on to my Droid and then insert the new 16GB SD card and transfer them all over. Sounds easy,right?!? NOT! He lied! I don't get it, I've gone into everything I can possibly think of and find. There is no setting that I can do this.. HELP?!? Maybe I'm blind Better yet I think I'm just not Droid qualified lol

Place the old sdcard in the droid
Connect to the PC and Mount the Drive
Copy files to PC
Turn off Droid
Replace the 16gb card
Power on, Connect to PC
Mount the Droid
Copy back....
