Saving pics on sd card

Can I save pics on my sd card and not have them in my gallery ?
I tried to do that and when I delete the pic off gallery it deleted it out of the sd card also

I believe all motorola phones save their pictures to the sd. So deleting from the gallery will also delete them from the sd. One way to not have them show up in your gallery is to put a "." in front of the file name of the picture.

no, unlike a blackberry you can't just hide photos with the stock gallery.

there is an app on the market that lets you do this, i forget its name, also if you add a .nomedia file to a folder it won't display in the gallery. google either. good luck hiding that porn.

There's an app called Pandora that will hide them for free.
