It occurs with any pic or logo.

    What I used to do..

1-Google search for a name like Exxon.
    2-Find a single pic.
3-click the three dots on the upper right corner.
    4-click on VIEW ORIGINAL
5- long press on that pic.
    6- Save as Contact photo
    Close and pic is established.

Now I am offered copy or share. Both only copy our share the link, not the .

There is a temporary fix...take a screenshot of what you want to use which will automatically save to your Gallery. Then crop the pic the way you want and set it as a Contact Photo. I'm not sure why Chrome is not giving you the download option, but the screenshot method will work also.

Okay, I can live with this..... Using Chrome, I can download, apply to contact photo. I just can't directly apply to the contact, I have to download first.

This is okay, it'll work just fine.

So, using Firefox was like using Windows VISTA HOME version, huh??

At least I wasn't using NETSCAPE browser...for anyone who can remember that!!!

TxDoc you are never a laugh any day, not to me...and I'm sure not to all the other Forum members. We are all here to help each other understand these mini computers in our hands, share our experience & knowledge, and enjoy some fun once in a while. Ask away sir, ask away.
