The other big reveal of the day from Samsung was their take on a fitness band. It's appropriately called the Gear Fit. It's an even more compact device than the Galaxy Gear 2 series. Here are a few specs and features of the the device:
    • 1.84-inch curved AMOLED display
    • 210 mAh battery that should last 3-4 days between charges
    • Bluetooth connectivity and a changeable strap
    • Inside is an accelerometer, gyro and heart rate sensors
    • Includes apps to monitor your workout sessions and third-party apps can be used on the device as well.
Samsung seems to be going "all in" on the wearables.

Yeah, this is something I'd be interested in for sure depending on the price. I bet dev's can come up with some cool apps for this.

Agreed. This would be way easier to take with me to work out than my phone.

Looks wayyy better than the LG Life Band which had peaked my interest. This one has a bent color AMOLED display with a strap that goes all the way around your wrist, and actually displays the text message, not just name of sender. Also comes with built in heart rate monitor ... I'm in!!!!! can't wait!!!
