Samsung Touchwiz and ADW.

I'm looking to kind of replace Touchwiz without rooting my phone (if possible). I'd like to use ADW but I'm concerned about the impact on battery life and/or performance.

Can anyone tell me if running ADW unrooted with Touchwiz still present will cause excess battery drain, or does not having Touchwiz up and visible eliminate some of its resource usage?

Battery usage won't change with the launcher you use but I reccomend adw ex.
