I keep getting this error message when I try to download or update does anyone know how I can fix this please

This looks like an issue with the Google play store app! I would clear the cache for the app under application manager. And maybe delete the data as well. Then try again. If that doesn't help...This maybe something you cannot fix on your side.

The next step after this would be a FDR "Factory Data Reset"
