One of the big disappointments with the Samsung Galaxy S8 launch is the fact that the Bixby voice assistant was not ready to go. Many have already dismissed Bixby as a redundant tool as all Galaxy phones with Nougat already include Google Assistant. Bixby feels like a one to one copy of Google Assistant in many ways. There are only a few things that really set it apart. You can use your camera to scan things that Bixby can give you information on where you can buy, and Bixby is integrated with 10 Samsung apps and can offer assistance within those apps.

If you are itching to give Bixby voice assistant a try you may get your chance soon. The voice assistant function is beginning to roll out in South Korea. If everything goes well there we can expect to see it release here soon as well.
