There are over 11 lawsuits aimed at Samsung by Apple to stop sales of their Galaxy S products, but it seems the company is still doing very well. Samsung was expected to see a profit of only 3.7 trillion won this quarter, but the company said its operating profit for the three month period ending this September will total roughly 4.2 trillion won ($3.6 billion). That means with all the lawsuits and delays the company is facing, they're still managing to push out millions of devices to their customers. They are behind last year's profit of 4.8 trillion won in the same quarter, but that could be because their devices just launched in the US and Verizon did not even get a copy.

One way or the other, Samsung is doing pretty well and whenever the Nexus Prime is launched, I'm sure they will see even higher profits.
