I also have a Note 8 along with an S3 Frontier and it hands over call and media to both vehicles almost immediately. I still receive notifications and alerts on the watch which seems redundant.

Now, the decision is whether to grab the S3 Frontier, which I love the look of, or wait for the S4.... hmmm....
