Well, aren't they lucky! We frequently say that about South Korean versions of Samsung Galaxy products. Most of the time, it's because of a specific hardware feature or special edition model that is only available in Sammy's home country. This time it applies again, but for something far more mundane.

According to several reports, the South Korean version of the Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge will not be including the Samsung logo on the front of the device. The report also indicated that the Chinese version of the phones will also show up sans logo. So far, there's been no official word that this is happening, but several images of the device without the logo have appeared in promotional ads.

If it turns out to be true, we aren't sure why Samsung would go this direction. Perhaps they are bowing to pressure from carriers over the branding, but that's purely speculation at this point. It's important to note that the carrier and model branding will probably still appear in the back of the device. Could this simply be Samsung changing up their marketing? What do you folks think?
