Some folks wanted to test the new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge's IP68 water-resistance well beyond its rated capabilities. Samsung claims a full hour of underwater submersion survivability, yet these video bloggers decided to test it by dunking it in a glass of water for 16 hours and 30 minutes.

Surprisingly, the phone came out perfectly fine without any problems whatsoever. It's likely that its future water-resistance might be degraded by this experience, but it likely isn't something that will ever make a difference for the user. At least now we know that your Galaxy S7 Edge should be able to survive some fairly harsh water conditions.
