According to a person who works for a Certain vendor that I know, it is unlikely we with see SD Storage and Removable Batteries anymore. I'm not liking this trend and it may lead to looking into some other MFGs that will offer this. There are some up and coming Phone MFGs and some that are big but not in the States that still offer these options. This may be where i may start looking myself.
If these Chinese branded phones continue to offer expandable memory and removable batteries (my biggest concern) AND lower prices , their footprint in the States might just grow more quickly.

I think it's Samsung that will do so first. And the Chinese will just ignore them like Samsung did when Apple was successful at getting the Tab 1 banned in Germany years back. Apple's suit in Australia actually caused the Tab sales to quadruple and Samsung even marketed it there as the tablet that got banned in other countries lol
