Samsung has unveiled their Unpacked 2016 Event teaser video. The video hints at #TheNextGalaxy and offers up the event date of February 21st. The video also teased their Samsung Gear VR. Could this mean they are going to announce a new version? Maybe.

Regardless, the big unveiling focus will obviously be on the Galaxy S7 series devices. Here's a quick refresh of some of the specs the rumors have revealed so far.
    • Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip (for North American Versions - Exynos Chip for international versions)
    • 4GB of RAM
    • 2560 x 1140 Quad HD display
    • microSD support
    • 12 megapixel camera on the back with dual pixel autofocus
    • 5 megapixel front facing camera
    • 3,000 mAh battery
    • Android 6.01/Marshmallow
    • Vivi Photos (similar in functionality to Live Photos on the iPhone)
As usual, we will be sharing all the juicy details of the event in pseudo-real-time, so stay tuned on Feb 21st! You can see the teaser video in the thread below.

The thing with these events is they are no longer events that surprise us. About time we get to the events the only thing we do not know are the release dates. Leaks are taking away from the surprise and the excitement about the events. Those that do go are there checking off their list of what they expect to be said next.
