Safestrap issue?

When creating a backup in non-safe system, I got the message 'No /sdcard/.android_secure found. Skipping backup of applications on external storage. Can I fix this by simply creating the folder manually, and more importantly, is this an issue I should even be worried about?

i have had this come up before and i just let it be and it has never efected and of my backups
