Please help. Storage shows 95% used. I have only some basic apps (for about 1 G in total) installed. That is it. No movies. No videos. No photos. No games. At all. Deleted all of them. Only 500 Mb of music is left. I cleared all caches. Deleted all SMSs. How come that 95% of storage is used? Used with (or by) what? I restarted several times. No help.

Go to settings>storage and see what is using it... Perhaps photos?

I deleted ALL photos. I cannot see what uses it. Except 500Mb music I have no other personal stuff at all.

Go into settings>storage. It will give a break down of what is where. If it's not than you may have a deeper issue

Do you have any of the popular Facebook game apps installed? The ones where you log with your Facebook account and play agaisnt your friends? My wife had a similar situation a few years ago, one of the reasons that brought me to this forum. Something was using 75% of memory, but I knew that was false. It seemed like an app had "reserved" that memory for future use and wouldn't let the phone use it. I was about to do a FDR and decided on another plan. I uninstalled EVERY app she had ever downloaded from the Play Store. That left the phone with only the apps that came pre-installed. Then cleared the app cache in the Storage Settings and rebooted. Her available storage was back to normal. I chalked it up to those Facebook game apps, she never installed them again and the issue never returned on any phone since. It still took some time to setup a lot of her apps, but not as much time as a FDR. Hope that helps out. Good luck.

No. I have no any FB apps at all. When I go to Settings-Storage I get the following: phone storage - internal storage - total space 32.00 gb - available 1.35 gb - apps 1.03 gb- cached data 230 kb. Phone storage - Total space 32.00 gb - available 12.23 gb - apps 2.23 mb - pictures, videos 93 mb - audio 630 mb - downloads 32 kb - cached data 240 kb - misc 81 mb. That is it. In addition to pre-installed apps I have only skype, viber, watsup, avg antivirus and fitbit. I do not know what to do.

You have 12.31GB of storage free for your to put pictures, videos, etc on. The OS/System partition has 1.3GB free. You can't change that unless you delete apps. It's reserved for the phone to work correctly. I'm guessing Samsung uses 4GB for this.

It's kinda confusing how they have that all labeled. You'd think it'd say 4GB for the Total space under Internal Storage, but I assume they're trying to make it less confusing because the phone in its entirety has 32GB of storage, even though a certain portion of that is reserved for the OS/System. I agree with Mustang's assessment of the situation.
