I have been rooted for about a week an noticed that when browsing the web and streaming music I am seeing temps any where from 107-124f. What can I do to bring the temps down. I am running droidmod @ 800. I even see that at 500. Not real up on how to change things but would like to learn.

Is it battery temp or cpu temp that high. I am running droidmod as well and I know my bat temp get us to 115 the max and I am mainly o/c at 800. I am normally not concerned but I normally drop to o/c 600 setting when I stream music/sports.

What are the "danger" temps to look for? cpu? battery?

The CPU can handle 80 degrees Centigrade. That's pretty hot.

I'm running BB v.7 @ 1.25GHz and it averages 110 under load. Try a different kernel. :icon_ banana:

Those aren't bad and nothing to worry about for CPU temps. Try a different kernel if you're really worried. I'm using AdamZ new kernel ROM it lets you choose a low, med, or high voltage kernel. I'm using a med but if you're really worried about the temp just go with the low volt kernel.
