I just loaded MIUI 1.9.9 over cyanogenmod but now I don't have access to the apps that require root access. Anyone know what's going on here?

What apps are you trying to use? And did you open up SU and see if they are even showing up in there just being denied?

Pretty sure this is a known issue with a certain version of MIUI.

Sent from my A855, while on the move.

Guidot may be correct. Just popped over to the DX MIUI thread here and copy and pasted something below. Try it out and see if it works.

    Copied Post:
    Instructions:
    Put on SDCard
Boot to Clockwork Recovery, make a backup, and install zip from sdcard
    Wipe Cache and Davlik Cache
Boot up and go to Superusers app (in Tools) and change ROOT Permissions to ON in settings

Thanks to guidot, I would not have known to look there had he not mentioned it. And I am glad it was such an easy fix for you.

Also, I noticed these were your first few posts, Welcome to the Forum!!
