Verizon doesn't really make money on phones, so why would they care about one phone competing with another, or needing a rival for the IPhone5? Some of these writers may know a lot about tech, but business not so much.

This phone = my next phone
I don't care what they name it. Hell, I can deal with bloatware if it still has the rumored specs.

100% agree with this, if it has the rumored specs and unlocked they can call it a pink polka dot bunny for all I care.
I'm just worried this thing isn't going to be a vanilla android experience since a) its on verizon and we'd only be that lucky and b) they removed the nexus tag. Hopefully verizon just wants to ride off the "droid" popularity and this thing is a vanilla android, unlocked, beast of a phone.
My thoughts
Bionic = Sept
iPhone5 = Oct
Prime = Nov (Thanksgiving?)
Can the Prime launch in October? Yeah but the team is just getting final coding process finished. And unless big red is gonna shoot themselves in the foot by speeding up the prime's release date to compete against itself with the iphone october launch? You have the bionic in september already getting a huge market push. then the iphone5?? And you want to add in a super stock vanilla device with dual core LTE in that mix too... not to mention the HTC revolution 2 soon to follow??!
Too many choices causes customers to freeze up and not make a decision, which only hurts the companies. It's not good business for their bottom line. They will spread out the releases.
Verizon wouldn't be screwing themselves by selling 3 major phones at once. If anything, they'd be making more money. Instead of having 1 good phone for consumers to choose from, they have 3. Say I don't like the iPhone 5 but I don't want to wait to upgrade, I have 2 more great phones to choose from.My thoughts
