This latest Samsung Galaxy Alpha rumor flies in the face of our previous one. Earlier we reported that the Galaxy Alpha might launch on August 4th, but this latest report indicates it will be August 13th. Of course, this could be a case of mixed signals. Perhaps Sammy will announce it on August 4th but launch it to retailers on the 13th.

Either way, this latest rumor also comes with a new list of specs and the model name SM-G850F. Here are the specs:
    • Octa-core Exynos 5433 processor
    • 4.8-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels
    • 12 MP rear camera
    • 2 MP front-facing camera
    • 2 GB of RAM
    • 32 GB of non-expandable internal memory
    • Android 4.4.4 KitKat
    • A heart rate sensor
    • Aluminum framed body (with plastic back cover)
This thing keeps changing all the time. By the time it is done, they will need to call it the Galaxy Chameleon instead of the Galaxy Alpha...
