As is usual for the rumor-mill, sometimes things flip-flop like a drunken Congressman. This particular shift comes from the Samsung camp. Previously we reported rumors that the first flexible plastic curved display device from Sammy would possibly be a "limited edition" or an Active version of the Galaxy Note 3. Today's newest rumor debunks that theory and suggests it is instead a completely new device series.

Today's report suggests Samsung’s curved screen phone will be like the Youm prototypes shown at CES in January. In fact, a recent benchmark was discovered for an unknown Samsung device with the model number SM-G910S. This device has been rumored to launch next week. This is "coincidentally" the same time Samsung indicated it would be launching their first curved display device. It isn't much of a stretch to conclude they might be the same device.

Incidentally, here's a spec breakdown of that device taken from the benchmarks:
  • Snapdragon 800 processor
  • Full HD (1920 x 1080) display
  • Android 4.3
  • LTE-A
What do you guys think? Could this be the first in the Premium device lineup from Samsung that we heard about previously? Or, is it possible that Samsung will launch an entirely new line of devices and the Premium Galaxy F devices will come later? We wouldn't be surprised either way...
