We have more Samsung Galaxy S5 intel for you this morning, but this "news" is far less credible than the earlier comments from a Samsung exec. Despite this, based upon this report, there is still a very real possibility that we will see an F Series Premium version of the SGS5 and that it will have very advanced and exotic materials making up its chassis. Supposedly, the new casing of this F series premium SGS5 will be a fusion of metal, plastic and composite materials. It will be designed to keep the weight down while increasing impact endurance, and improving reception. Furthermore, the metal used in the composite design will supposedly be stainless steel and will be molded with the plastic and composite parts. There's a bit more to it than that however, and in fact, this mythical SGS5F could include a diamond-encrusted coating on the outside of this metal-plastic-composite blend. Here's a quote with more of the details,

It is not your grandma's stainless steel, though, it seems, but rather diamond-coated one, which would allow light and tough cases with excellent corrosion resistance, achieved by applying carbon nanoparticles while baking the chassis at high temperatures. The production technology used, claims the source, is similar to what the Russian Ministry of Defense has developed for aerospace applications, and industry honchos have commented that it is a "diamond coating technology that makes mass production and cost competitiveness key," which sounds perfect for mass smartphone production.

We are a bit skeptical of these claims as it seems like the cost for such an exotic blending of materials would be exorbitant for any average consumer. Of course, if Samsung really does launch this as a "Premium" device, it could be marketed for the ultra-wealthy.

I'm sure if this became standard it would cost pennies to produce and still cost consumers an arm, leg, and left..., Uh, joint.

Seriously, though, it would be pretty cool and efficient for smartphones to be produced this way. And a diamond infused/coated screen would add extra durability. Initially, it will be only for the wealth, I think. But if it became standard they would have no choice but to make it affordable.
