Terrific! I have owned both the Motorola Droid and Droid MAXX and had not gone the root route until today and then I find that JB has been modified to exclude the hot spotbeing activated without a subscription from verizon. Is it possible to back out of the root proess? I used RazrBlade's process.

    Thanks for any insight offered.
    Chuck

You can download them directly from Motorola.

SUCCESS!!! Finally got it to root. The key was a complete internal Factory Reset. When it asks if you want to wipe internal music and pics, check yes. The root went through without my having to do the Smartactions manually. It just went from beginning to end and was rooted. So to everybody who were getting the ,can't find su, you must wipe. Backup everything first. Finally !!! dancedroid:icon_ banana:

I did do the SQLite update but record 66 was not there to be modified. It went from record 64 to 67. Perhaps I am missing something.
    Thanks

Try a reboot, or look up and down the list for it.

I was able to find a record 150 which had entitlement_check. It had a value of 1. Is this the guy I am looking for?
