Hey there!
I've had my Droid 2 for a while but I hadn't really gotten into rooting. Now that I'm interested I have a couple of questions.
I've found several tutorials on how to root a droid 2, but they don't really say much about what happens after. I'm wondering if after rooting via z4root, the config that was placed on the phone by your service provider (like IP, and all the stuff your phone needs to get on your carrier's wireless networks) are affected somehow?
If so, how can re-establish them after rooting?
I ask this cause I've seen in some HTC tutorials that they have instructions for specific carriers to configure such things.
