Rooting on Mac

Can I root on a Mac? If so could someone point me to where this info is. I've been searching for a while and all I see is root by PC.

You can but it is a pain but I have done it and posted a thread that should help a little. Here are is thread and someone elses thread that will help you after you download all the necessary files for your mac, if you chose to do so.

Thanks again for the tips, but I decided to partition my mac and install XP. seems if I'm going to be mucking around with my phone it would be easier that way.

yes that is definitely the easiest way! I didn't feel like spending 100 dollars on a new copy of windows so I decided to just do all the free trial stuff. Boot Camp partition is much easier.
