rooting my moto droid with a mac?

am i SOL? every guide i find seems to be for a windows based comp. all i wanna be able to do, is delete the facebook app, wifi tether, and overclock. i just basically wanna 2.1 stock root, but i can't find anything that says it's possible with a mac.

I have a mac book pro and found that the dual partition was the best option. Luckily I had a buddy that had an XP pc he was trashing and got the code from them. You could ask around. Good luck man, it's not easy for us mac guys...

Don't use the virtual, actually partiton you HDD. It will work fine. :)

I have some other issues with my mac too. Some zip files I download on the mac side don't work. I use the mac side for research and the XP for actual downloads and installs.
