I've looked through the sticky and been everywhere online trying to get my phone rooted. Just can't seem to get it done. I did find an outdated site that has a set of instructions on how to do it, but it seems i have been unable to get it to work.

Here's the site. How to root Motorola Droid on Mac | MacHackPC

I am a complete noob at this so please any help you could give me is greatly appreciated.

What i ended up doing was installing Windows on my mac through Parallels and used SuperOneClick. Granted this was close to 3-4 months ago.

I did it on my MacBook back in '09 but I remember it being very hard and annoying and it took a few reboots/ "oh sh!t" moments to get it working properly. Been rooted the last 2 years and loved every second of it.
