Rooting Inc. 2 need help with a step

Im slowly rooting my inc 2 and have come to a step where I am told to "remove all phone, PDA, MP3 sync softwares, including HTC Sync, itunes, and all Antivirus software and suspend all unnecessary processes" Is there a one step way to do this? How do I do this?

this by the way is the step down process from 2.3.4

Just turn off your virus software on your computer. If you have any of those programs that run in the task bar close them as well.

I just did my wifes phone the other night and since I don't have any if those programs, I just shut down Norton for an hour or so. Good luck and come back if you have more questions!

Doesnt seem to want to work.... I keep getting error, device not found...

disregard, got it done. I used a video (a couple of them) to get it done. There were a few things different but I think I have them figured out now. now to experience a rooted phone........:happy3:
