I'm rerooting my phone, and it tells me "Install from sdcard complete" but the status bar is only 1/4 covered. Is it done?

Are you rooting for the first time?
What method are you using to root? (link to your instructions)
What number step are you on?
    Which rom are you applying?

All of the above will help the next person to see this thread help you.

No this is my second time rooting. The live wallpapers screwed it up. So I went to install and clicked "allow update.zip" then I clicked update zip from sd card, soemthing like that. Then it said it was installing and then it said "install from sdcard complete" But the bar was only quarter way filled. I rebooted and it doesn't look like im rooted. I tried going to setCPU and it didn't work.

    Hello Tu,

The progress bar doesnt necessarily need to be fully filled for the install to complete. Your are really looking for the install complete part of it. But if you are unable to use rooted access apps like setcpu and you dont see the super user icon in your applications list then it may not have worked correctly. Click the link in my signature and follow that guide. It will have you rooted in no time.
